MET – Marsulex Environmental Technologies Corporation, a leader in air quality control technologies, has been awarded a contract for a particulate reduction project by a large power producer in the Caribbean. The project is a fast-tracked ESP upgrade for a coal fired utility boiler enabling the unit to achieve a new outlet particulate emission requirement of <50 mg/Nm3.
MET’s innovative design enabled them to be selected over other OEM offers. The approach taken supports overall construction efficiency for their construction partner, which subsequently led to a reduction in manhours and cost, and reduced the outage down-time for the customer.
